Wash and Wax Sponge Infomercial Claims
- You get three items in the kit - a wash and wax sponge, a degreaser sponge and a chamois.
- Just wet the wash and wax sponge and squeeze it to produce suds in order to wash your vehicle.
- The detailer sponge has both a soap and degreaser in it and works the same as the wash and wax sponge.
- The soap is biodegradable and environmentally safe.
Good Points
- Yes it does wash up to eight cars with the sudsy sponge and does an ok job there. Although if you may have to go over some spots to get a vehicle completely clean.
- Detail and degreaser sponge does a nice job, especially on the wheels.
Bad Points
- The little shammy is so small and doesn't do a good job of drying vehicles.
- Also in another "Does it Work Test" the tester was disappointed that since the soaped up sponge is packaged together with the chamois, the chamois seems to have soap residue from the sponge. So after washing the vehicle, soap residue was put back on with the chamois no matter how much rinsing he did.
SpongeTech Wash and Wax Sponge for $10 does an ok job if you'r looking for something quick, inexpensive and environmentally friendly. If you're more serious about detailing a vehicle there are definitely better products on the market.

The chamois has a built in cleanser that is suppossed to give a shine and luster to your car like a spray n shine does from mothers. Do not make false statments and slander a product when you don’t have the facts. Call the company next time and they can teach you about their product. You must wet the chamois first then squeeze it to activate its drying capabilities. Bad review from your site on a great product.
