Fasta Pasta is a microwavable pasta maker that promises to save you time and possibly half a dozen trips to the kitchen checking if your pasta is properly boiling or almost done. This is my number one pet peeve of cooking pasta! It consists of a bottom plastic cooker and a lid for straining the pasta. There’s also detailed cooking instructions so you know the exact amount of water and time it takes to cook each type of pasta. No guess work involved here. Vidalia Slice Wizard Has Different Results in These Two Videos

Vidalia Slice Wizard is one of the first food slicers I actually picked up a couple years at a Home Show here in Calgary It’s actually called the V-Slice though. To be honest it’s still sitting in my cupboard and I hardly ever used it only because I prepare meals only for myself. It’s actually nice that I saw a demonstration on how to use it. It’s a bit tricky at first and takes some practice. It’s a fruit and vegetable slicer that has interchangeable blades so can slice, dice, chop, mince, and julienne.

Tater Mitts are a Bit Comical and Not So Helpful in the Kitchen

Tater Mitts make me laugh. As I write this post up, it’s just a bit comical how these gloves are marketed as the such a great time saver for the kitchen. Yet all they are are big blue gloves with aquamarine rocks on the bottom. Ha Ha! Isn’t it amazing how they make them look so good on the infomercial and low and behold Oops! Forgot to tell the consumer something kind of important!
