Ab Sonic is yet another electric massage belt that’s come on the market. How many ab training fitness devices do they think we need? This one promises that instead of doing 600 sit-ups you can use the Ab Sonic for only ten minutes with the same results. The neat thing about this belt is that you can use it on your stomach as well as your arms and legs. Have a look at what a rather skeptical personal trainer is saying Ab Sonic.

Advantages

• Includes six pre-programmed routines
• Wireless, portable, lightweight and discreet so you can wear it while doing other tasks
• Can be used on stomach, arms and thighs
• This product only requires that the user use it for ten minutes a day
• It really does stimulate muscle contractions

Disadvantages

• You’ll need to continually buy watch batteries for the product
• It’s suppose to be adjustable but it doesn’t seem to be large enough to fit everyone correctly and not be comfortable to wear
• The unit is made of plastic and a bit on the flimsy side

Ab Sonic can also be used on your thighs

You’ll have to be very careful as to the settings you are using especially the first time using it. It can either be too low which won’t make your muscles do anything. Or too high and your muscles go into convulsions and it can really hurt your skin.

Ab Sonic – The Bottom Line

The Ab Sonic does stimulate muscle contractions and does what it says it will do. This device is only one piece of the puzzle though.  As Andrea the personal trainer was saying, you still need to focus on having a routine… a lifestyle where you follow a healthy eating plan and workout plan. On the flip side, I don’t know why everyone’s seems to be saying all EMS devices are all scams. This simply isn’t true. By the way, I bought an EMS device a few years ago. Not an actual infomercial product though but they’re basically all the same. I can honestly say that it really does work.  I do have a little belly but not a lot. I haven’t used it in a while because it takes so long to get into the device. Hooking up all the pads and straps etc. The Ab Sonic looks much easier to get into.
