The Go Duster is basically a duster with a motor run on batteries. It has three replaceable duster heads and comes with the “miracle dusting spray”. It’s great for quick dusting around the home. I love this video because it puts the Go Duster to the ultimate test…a house with chandeliers and high shelves. If your like me, I cringe at the idea of the time involved in dusting little knick knacks and hard to reach places. If you have a really large home you will save a lot of time with this duster. You can really reach high with these dusting heads. The large head is 10 inches long, the regular head measures 7 inches and the mini is 2 inches.
Things You Can Dust Easily with the Go Duster
- Chandeliers
- Nick knacks
- Cob webs on walls
- Computer keyboards
- Blinds
- High shelves
- Small surfaces
- Stereo equipment
- Wicker baskets
- Silk plants
- Above the kitchen cupboards
Pros
- I could really see it being very useful to for get your kids to enjoy their dusting chores.
- The dusting heads are easy to snap on and off.
- You can rinse the duster head in water to clean.
Cons
- If you’re more a Type A personality who likes perfection, it doesn’t get every last little remnant of dust and you’ll have to probably dust it by hand afterward.
- It doesn’t really pick up the dust – only moves it around.
- For the Go Duster to work, the dusting spray has to be used to keep the dust on the duster. The vendor says the spray is safe to use on all surfaces but to test it on inconspicuous places first.
- Where do you get more miracle dusting spray? Well, the vendor promises to send replacement dusting spray for life, but there’s a catch. You’ll have to shell out $4.99 shipping and handling charge for a tiny little 2 ounce bottle. Can you see yourself doing this instead of buying a regular dusting spray for $5 for 13 ounces?
Go Duster is not really worth the investment. If you have to dust twice, why bother? The only thing you could use Go Duster for is more of the loose dust or cobwebs. If you have large house with lots of nooks and crannies they now have those Swiffers that have an extendible handle for hard to reach places. I love Swiffer dusters! They serve a dual purpose…they are awesome and easy to dust regular dusting areas that are within arms reach. They trap ALL the dust on the cloth without using dusting spray. Of course then you can attach them to the swiffer floor duster and clean them up in minutes, thoroughly and easily!
