Grill Daddy is a new barbeque cleaning brush. I know many of you are firing up the ol barbeque, especially on summer weekends. Grilling is always the fun part but clean up is a major pain. All that baked on food from last summer. Ugghh!
- Regular sized Grill Daddy
- Grill Daddy Pro
The [tags]grill-daddy[/tags]infomercial bold claims "It's the last grill cleaning tool you'll ever need!" All you do is pour water into the hollow handle, preheat your grill and start scrubbing. Water drips out from between the wire bristles, creating a steam-cleaning effect that washes away caked-on grime. Those who put the Grill Daddy to the test have mixed reactions, with most finding it to be a great [tags]as-seen-on-tv-home[/tags] cleaning solution, but others fail to see what makes it better than a regular grill brush.
What Consumers are Saying About Grill Daddy
- It easily brushes away all sorts of caked-on food and grease and can be used with one hand.
- The brush never seems to leave a grill spotless.
- It doesn't clean a grill any better than water and a wire brush do.
- The steam the Grill Daddy creates is too hot, which makes using it a challenge, and that the bristles sometimes fall out after using it.
- I noticed in some video reviews that the anyone barbequing with high heat really had the problem mentioned above. You need it hot but not that hot. It looks like it still cleans ok even if you don't have a super hot grill.
Grill Daddy has some consumers very happy and others failing to see what makes it better than a regular barbeque brush. The Grill Daddy also claims that it sterilizes the grill which is nice. There was no scientific tests done on this but I can imagine that the very hot steam will clean all the bacteria off. You can pick up Grill Daddy at your local Target store.
