My Place Laptop Table is supposed to create a cozy little workstation right on your lap. It's even got it's own cool little cup and pen holder and LED light! It almost looks a bit too cozy if you ask me. April is a an avid laptop user who enjoys taking her computer everywhere she goes. What does she think about this little laptop workstation?
Positive Points
- It's meant for laptops but you can also use the stable platform for writing, reading, crafts, puzzles, eating in bed, dinner in front of the TV.
- Built in soft pillow base cushion does make it quite comfortable for your lap and stops the laptops heat.
- Integrated LED light is included and is flexible to any position.
- Easy to transport - Has carrying handle and is lightweight.
- Grip strips on the desk top prevent the computer from sliding around.
Negative Points
- Just be aware that it's not quite as cozy as it looks. It will hold your laptop, and nothing else. As in Aprils case it covered up her cup and pen holder. To get her pen she has to lift up the laptop. It definitely wouldn't fit a 15 or 17 inch laptop. The [tags]my place laptop table[/tags]work surface dimension is 16" L x 14" W x 3"H.
- The light is not very bright. The strength is more like a little book lite.
My Place Laptop Table is about $20 and I heard you can pick them up at Target. At least it serves it's main purpose even though the added accessories aren't really necessary. It will keep your laptop comfortably in your lap and gives you a flat surface to work on as long your laptop is on the smaller side. Here's another As Seen on TV laptop stand that just doesn't have the quality it should have.
