I bought the point n paint to use when I re-did my bathroom and ended up going out and buying a paint pan and rollers instead. I did one coat (which took me about 3 hours) with the point n paint and it was a LOT of work and it looked like it needed several more coats because of all the streaks. I should have just used a roller in the first place. Also, even with the smaller trim pad it doesn't get all the way to the edge so you have to use a brush anyway. However, you can't knock all As Seen on TV items because I also got the perfect brownie pan and it works awesome. :) Maybe I'm just better at baking than painting...

I have painted 3 rooms with the product, getting ready to start the 4th. I have not used it with the pole but I love it so far! No splatter, no drips, much smoother than a roller. Sometimes I tape sometimes I don't and no mess. The only thing I disagree with is being able to complete a room in an hour.....that doesn't happen. I would buy this product again in an instant!

I LOVE the product. I have painted many rooms and found this to be far easier than rollers with much less mess, and and a better finish. I'm sorry your testers couldn't do it, but maybe they should have practiced.. honestly I think children could use it with ease.

I bought this a week ago and used it today. And i loved it! I have not tried it with the pole though, but used it on the walls and used a chair to do the ceiling. Like Lisa mentioned....no splatter and no mess!! Worth the price. I am looking to buy more of the refills to use with another color for my kitchen.

I did purchase this item and I love it!!!!! I have not tried it w/the pole, however. I have used it only by hand and used a ladder to reach the higher parts, but it worked beautifully!!! No taping, no covering furniture or dropcloths on the floor and best of all--NO SPLATTER!!! Worth every penny!

Thank you for your info. I have been thinking about purchasing the Point and Paint for a while now. The concept is great if it actually worked! I am disabled and can't tape around anything I can't reach from the ground. Guess I'll be hiring painters!

Er, I hope Chris M. is correct, because I just bought 2 of these at Ross - cheap. I didn't believe the commercials, but figure these might be useful for painting a small space or touch-up jobs. Not seeing much difference between this and a painter pad you can get at a hardware store, though. The paint tray and roller looks like a kiddy toy!

I can believe allthe b##chen about this product. First of all you can adapt the handle by locking the smaller on the bigger pad. And I did a whole office in under an hour. No drips perfect lines. So easy a caveman can do it. It's at Ross for 12 bucks!
