Smart Spin will help you organize your cupboards a little more efficiently. If you’ve ever opened up your kitchen cupboards and have your lids and storage containers tumble out all over. Or always find yourself looking through an endless array of mismatched lids and containers. GRRRRR Frustration! Of course it would be ideal to have the same sized lid for ever container. Even to have everything stack nicely and not take up your whole cupboard.
The Smart Spin Storage System is basically 24 storage containers with interchangeable lids. They all stack nicely together on a spinning rack that takes up only 1 square foot of your cupboard. I'm always a bit hesitant to order from the infomercials. I actually picked up a set at my local Walmart for $20.

All 24 lids will fit any of the three sized containers. Now it’s impossible to mismatch your lids! The turntable needs to be assembled but it’s fairly easy. It only takes a minute to attach the dividers to the carousel.
I’ve had my Smart Spin for over a year now and it's still in pretty good condition. Even after repeated use and being put in the dishwasher and microwave. Just remember to put them only on the top rack of the dishwasher. Also remember to take the lid off before you microwave with them. The instructions say that the containers are spill proof but keep them upright to prevent seepage. You can fit this System into a 9" high shelf or pull out drawer.
I have an issue with the largest [tags]smart spin[/tags]24 oz containers. You can’t store leftover meats such as pork chops or chicken breasts because the container is so vertical and narrow.
I love the fact that the turn table can be pulled out from the base. It’s especially useful when you have a cupboard that’s awkward to get into or want to put them in an out of the way place like the corner of your pantry.

- All of the containers have graduated measurements marked on one side in both ounces and milliliters. They are a little hard to see though.
Smart Spin Storage System
- Lids aren't air tight and can leak if you're container isn't upright.
- Containers and carousel aren't heavy duty.
- The containers look much bigger on the infomercial than what they actually are.
- The carousel doesn't hold all 24 storage containers. You might have to remove some of the containers.
- The 8 oz containers are too small for anything in the kitchen.
- The tops on all containers are 4" wide so it’s hard to put larger food items in even the largest container.
- There was one report of the container cracking when put in the freezer.
Smart Spin in Review - I use my Smart Spin containers all the time and like it a lot! This As Seen on TV kitchen product does work as advertised. The best part is that my cupboards are much better organized. Just be aware that Smart Spin won't replace all your storage containers. I do find that the convenience and ease of use outweigh any negative issues this product has.

I have had a Smart Spin for years and love it. It is so convenient to have all the lids the same size and the containers stackable. Plus, the tall containers fit well into tight spots in the fridge and freezer. Also great for lunchboxes.
