Tomatoes...There's absolutely nothing like a juicy, ripe, fresh off the vine tomato. I know how all you gardeners take so much pride in growing them, trading tips etc. Since so many of you were interested in the Topsy Turvy Tomato planter, I wanted to add a few tomato planting and gardening tips. I just happened to find these five really great videos from Sarah Browning. She's a horticulturalist from the the University of Lincoln Nebraska and goes in depth about many different tomato topics.

Tomato info overload if you ask me! There's so many varieties and growing techniques. I guess that's what makes planting them so much fun. I just went to check the Backyard Farmer home page and I found out that they have a podcast on iTunes! Although, you need to be signed up for iTunes before listening to it.  Just scroll down to they're podcast link at this Backyard Farmer page. I also thought their montly to-do list was kind of neat. They also have one there for the month of May...keeps a gardener organized!
