Funny Commercials and Ellen DeGeneres go hand in hand. They always create the perfect setting for comedy. Looks like Ellen's at it again! Well who could resist when there are so many infomercial products to mock. In these two videos, she's showing off the latest and greatest infomercial gadgets. She's obviously fascinated by infomercial products and realizes that there's money to be made in this multibillion dollar industry.

By the way these are all real infomercial products except for the toaster one at the end.
1. Ellen achieves shirt folding perfection with the Flip Fold.
The Flip Fold site states that...
"When flipping and folding, move the boards quickly and firmly - this allows for a flat, neat fold, getting all the air out." OK will do!
2. Next is the Eggstrator. Wow Ellen really screwed up on this one. She attempts to remove the egg shell from the egg but ends up pulverizing it. The Eggstrator product has been around since the dawn of time.
Here are the REAL Eggstrator instructions...
"Eggstractor Egg Peeler is the amazing new revolutionary egg peeler! Tired of peeling eggs?.........Not anymore! Simply place a hardboiled egg into the Eggstractor Egg Peeler, and out pops your peeled egg. It's that easy!"
3. Ellen gets her Tater Mitts on and starts at the potato skins. Ooh excuse me...this is not Tater Mitts but a similar product called the "Instant Peel Gloves"! Well I just happened to do a review on the Tater Mitts and you know how effortless you can get those spud skins off with those gloves! Well maybe not.
Tater Mitts actual claim... "Here's the fastest and easiest way to peel vegetables! Simply put on gloves and rub to remove outer skin on potatoes, carrots, yams, radishes and more. Safer than knives or peeler blades!"
4. The Toaster Butterer is a truly unique invention. Ellen claims that it can help you save time in the morning by buttering the toast as it pops out of the toaster. Simply insert a huge slab of butter onto the prongs and hang it above the toaster. When the toast pops up the toast gets brushed by the butter slab and saves you time! Wow that is one amazing kitchen gadget.
I must say... Ellen is very knowledgeable about her infomercial gadgetry. I noticed that in her blog that she even bought a Snuggie! Maybe her guests kept bugging her to do an infomercial review on that one. I was frantically looking for that video but I think she hasn't done a show on it yet. I'll keep an eye out for that one.

The next video is Ellen and the great Tiddy Bear giveaway. She also went and got the Rejuvenique facial toning system and I must say it really looks flattering on Ellen. By the way, this is actually a tape of the TV. To bad Ellen site doesn't offer this [tags]funny commercial[/tags]video. Anyway, it's quite amusing just the same.
Funny Commercials with Ellen are so educational wouldn't you say? There's one product we ought to get her to try.. that's Mr. Microphone. She'd have a hayday with that one!
