Valentines Day Gift Shopping, History and a Little Humour

February 4th, 2009 · No Comments

Most Valentines Day gift shopping is always left to the last minute.  Wow, it’s already next Saturday! I was browsing around the net tonight and found two really interesting videos. The first one is the history of the Valentines Day. We all know it was started by St. Valentine but have you ever wondered how the fully history of Valentines Day unfolded?   The second  video is for a little comic relief.  I’ve got Video Jugs “How to buy lingerie for your partner”. Last but not least I’ve got a list of What NOT to get your loved one on Valentines Day. Very funny!

The History of Valentines Day

Guys Guide on How To Buy Lingerie

Here’s a great video for guys getting ready to lingerie shop for their sweetheart… Leave it to the Brits to come up with the most hilarious how-to videos! This guy cracks me up. Except I hate the fact they call it underwear shopping instead of lingerie shopping.

Lingerie Gift Shopping Highlights

Know her size - If you don’t know this already, it’s time to do a little detective work. Sneak a peek in her underwear drawer and get a good look at the labels, especially the bras. Try not to get caught. She won’t be best pleased to find you rifling through her unmentionables.

Don’t guess - More importantly, don’t judge her size by comparing her to a sales assistant. Women generally don’t appreciate strange men sizing them up.

Style counts - You may have your eye on the skimpiest little number you can find, but you’re not the one who will be wearing it. Do your research by observing the kind of underwear and clothing she usually wears.

Enjoy - Even if it’s not her perfect gift, she will be so delighted that you went to so much trouble that she will no doubt wish to reward you for all your hard work. As if you have to tell guys to enjoy the lingerie!
