Ellen Degeneres is always on the lookout for silly gadgets especially the weird ones on informercials. She just can't seem to stop talking about the revolutionary new Shake Weight. Well Ellen of course had to test it out for herself and since she's so generous she gave out Shake Weight's to her crew and the entire audience.
I love the way the infomercial brings in the scientific wording that's supposed to impress us TV viewers. Did you know that...."isometric contractions cause 300% more EMG activity than your average dumbbells?"
Also did you know that “Dynamic Inertia” can potentially ignite your chest, shoulders and arms? Workout only 6 minutes a day? Incredible. They have to show us their animated sequence so we really see it in action.
Shake a Weight for men- mmmm nice!
The makers of Shake Weight didn't stop with just one model for women. They had to develop a more powerful one just for guys. Too bad Ellen didn't have these oiled up models on her show doing a little demonstration.
Here's some pics for you ladies and a video. It was just a little too much to put on my blog but it's very nice to look at I can assure you! Bulky ripped muscles in 6 minutes a day. "Don't use those boring old dumbells" the infomercial claims. Oh yeah right...And the one guy mentions he was covered in sweat in only 30 seconds. I think every guy would arms of steel if this invention actually did work.
