Weird inventions have always fascinated me.  Infomercials offer us a look at some very peculiar gadgets, but I realized there are many other inventions that deserve some recognition too.  And now to start off the weird inventions category here are two of the most talked about, written about, over analyzed, laughed at, political products ever.

During the run up to the 2008 election these were really hot items. We’ve got the Hillary Clinton Nutcracker joined by her main squeeze, Corkscrew Bill. Ouch I don’t like where they’ve attached that corkscrew on poor Bill! Bill and Hillary are sold as a dinner party set and have been widely popular in the media and the poked fun at on talk shows.

The actual ad for the Hillary Nutcracker reads… Love her or hate her, you’ll have nonstop fun cracking nuts with Hillary. Regardless of your affiliation (Republican or Democrat) you’ve just found your new favorite kitchen tool! This might be the reason why Bill never strayed too far.

Corkscrew Bill is apparently “The new action hero for wine drinkers”. Works like a charm. Just lift up the solid steel corkscrew, twist it into the cork, and pull. It’s a great opening act! No bottle of wine included here! Here’s a look at Corkscrew Bill’s promotional video.

The Hillary Clinton Bathroom Duo

Weird invention for your bathroom -  If that’s not enough, there seems to be a whole lineup of toilet brushes made to resemble famous people. How about cleaning your toilet with the “First Cleaning Lady” toilet brush? And no bathroom would be complete without Hilary toilet paper…Now do we really need Hilary’s face there? I’m sure a Republican came up with that invention.
