With spring already here, you may be interested in all the newest, craziest weird umbrella inventions now on the market. Would you be caught with any of these? Take your pick of one these rather dorky looking umbrellas. The first is a hands-free umbrella made right in the USA. The next generation of rain gear, they say. The next two are from the Chindogu line of weird Japanese inventions.
Nubrella Invention
Nubrella was introduced into the market last spring. It’s a new hands free umbrella which promises to keep you dry, but leaves your ego all wet. The new-style umbrella looks like something out of a bad science fiction movie. Your going to have to sacrifice some of your dignity to do it. Oh sure its hands free and convenient….Imagine the stares you’ll get as you stroll through town with a baby stroller cover on your head. Let’s just call it the dorkiness factor. This may take a while to catch on across America.
This company also put out another promotional video of a lady strolling through New York City and everyone turns to stare at her…what kind of promotional video is that? You’ll instantly be the center of attention, but not in a good way!
From the land of the rising sun we have two more strangely practical and utterly eccentric inventions.
Umbrella Shoe Saver
Here is the Umbrella Shoe Saver invention. Extend the life of your expensive footwear by attaching little umbrellas to your feet.
Full Body Umbrella
The umbrella was invented over 200 years ago, was a good start in the technological battle to stay dry in the rain. But total victory has had to wait until now. For day long all over dryness, protected by a 360 degree sheet of clear vinyl, users of the full body umbrella are safe from even those sneaky, low-flying horizontal rain drops.
Be sure to catch the top five inventions for lazy people. You’ll get a good laugh out of this video.
Looking for more weird and wonderful stuff? As a kid one of my favorite books among others was Ripley’s Believe it Not. eBay has a treasure trove of weird stuff so I thought I’d showcase a few items.
